Method: Twelve camping hammocks spanning ultralight backpacking nests to bottom-entry expedition shelters and all-in-one hammock tents, researched 2026-08-09 primarily against manufacturer product pages (Eagles Nest Outfitters, Kammok, Hennessy Hammock, Grand Trunk, Wise Owl Outfitters, Warbonnet Outdoors, Lawson Hammock, Trek Light Gear) with retailer/GitHub corroboration where a manufacturer page could not be rendered; ENO's own two product pages returned only JS-shell markup on direct fetch, so their specs (stable and unchanged across many years of retailer/manual documentation) are reported with slightly lower confidence than the eight products whose live spec tables were successfully retrieved verbatim. Two adversarial substitutions were required: (1) Sea to Summit no longer sells any hammock — its current /collections/hammocks page lists only tarps and bug shelters — so the seed "Sea to Summit Pro" is EXCLUDED rather than reported as a live product with a guessed price; (2) the seed "Legit Camping Double" could not be resolved to any real, currently-operating brand website, Amazon listing, or Walmart listing after repeated verification attempts (DNS failures on every guessed domain, Bing turning up no matching retailer), so it was replaced with two real, directly-verified products not on the original seed list: the Lawson Hammock Blue Ridge Camping Hammock (lawsonhammock.com), a spreader-bar hammock-tent hybrid with an integrated no-see-um bug net, and the Trek Light Gear Double Hammock bundle (treklightgear.com). Separately, Hummingbird Hammocks ceased operations in 2024 (confirmed via the brand's own hummingbirdhammocks.com farewell notice and its now-archival GitHub org); the Single+ is retained as a real, historically significant ultralight product with priceUsd left null and the closure explained in priceNote, since no current retail price exists to report.
