Method: Specs pulled directly from manufacturer owner's-manual PDFs (Arcan, Husky, Torin) and manufacturer/retailer product pages (Harbor Freight for Daytona/Pittsburgh, jbtools.com for Powerbuilt) wherever those could be fetched. Several manufacturer/retailer sites (Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, Amazon, Northern Tool, torinjacks.com, arcantools.com, omegalift/shinnfuamerica.com) blocked automated fetches (403/404/429) even though they were located and cross-checked via search; in those cases figures come from secondary retailers, published reviews, or industrial distributors and are flagged in each product's provenance/priceNote. Two seed models were corrected against verified specs: Powerbuilt 620479E is a 2-ton (not 3-ton) jack, and Blackhawk B6350 is a 3.5-ton jack; Craftsman's currently-sold 3-ton jack (CMXLETNT83312) is steel, not aluminum, so the seed was swapped to the real current SKU. NOS NSJ0301 is a badge-engineered twin of the Sunex 6603ASJ aluminum service jack (same 58 lb / 3.75-18.125in spec footprint); its brand ownership and MSRP could not be independently confirmed.
