**Nintendo Switch 2** — Two whitelisted testers cover the exact Switch 2: Tom's Guide (hands-on) and Digital Foundry (year-one technical verdict). Both call it a real generational leap with magnetic Joy-Cons, seamless docking and standout GameChat. They split on the LCD - Tom's Guide loves it, Digital Foundry calls it lacklustre. **Asus ROG Ally X** — All three whitelisted testers (Tom's Hardware, Engadget, TechPowerUp) rate the 2024 ROG Ally X the best Windows handheld at launch, praising its doubled 80Wh battery, 24GB RAM performance gains and comfier grips.
