## What reviewers say

**Synology DiskStation DS224+** — Only one whitelisted tester, TechRadar, yielded a readable hands-on review of the exact DS224+; StorageReview and PCMag reviews were unreachable and excluded. TechRadar praises the Celeron J4125 performance uplift over the DS223 and Synology's mature DSM software, but flags that gigabit Ethernet caps real-world transfers at ~113MB/sec, recommending 2.5GbE rivals for multi-user offices. (1 sourced review.)

**TerraMaster F4-424 Pro** — Two whitelisted hands-on reviews of this exact model, both from its early-2024 launch window. Both call the 8-core i3-N300 with 32GB DDR5 genuinely powerful for Docker, VMs and multi-user work, and both flag the high price ($699 / €730) and the near-useless HDMI output, which shows only Linux console text because TOS has no graphical interface. Measured throughput is network-bound: Notebookcheck recorded 210 MB/s write and 296 MB/s read, TechRadar puts the ceiling at around 280MB/s over a single 2.5GbE port. Only Notebookcheck published power and noise figures (23.8 watts idle, 33.7 dB idle). (2 sourced reviews.)
