Method: Adversarially re-verified roster of 12 benchtop, variable-speed scroll saws. Eight entries were re-fetched and confirmed directly from primary manufacturer or authorized-dealer pages (DeWalt, WEN, Delta via Global Industrial, Jet via Woodcraft, RIKON, Craftsman, Dremel via shop.dremel.com, King Canada). Four models are real but their primary pages could not be fetched this session — Shop Fox W1713 and Grizzly G0536 sit on grizzly.com (bot-gated 403, existence confirmed), the Excalibur EX-21 manufacturer PDF has an expired TLS certificate and every retailer mirror returned 403/404, and the discontinued Ryobi SC180VS was verified from its hosted owner's manual; for these, only confirmable/standard-published specs were kept and everything else left null. The two originally suggested non-existent models (Rikon '10-321' = a bandsaw; 'King Industrial KC-163SC' = no such SKU) and the fabricated 'Craftsman CMEW732' were already swapped for real SKUs (Rikon 10-600VS, King Canada KC-163SSC-V-6, Craftsman CMXESAX69434604), and those real replacements were re-confirmed here. Corrections this pass: Jet's jettools.com source URL returned HTTP 404 and was replaced with the verified Woodcraft listing; Grizzly G0536's historical $187.95 was nulled (discontinued, no current published US price confirmable); Dremel's unverifiable 9.84 in throat figure was nulled; Shop Fox's JS-shell Amazon source was replaced with its manufacturer host on grizzly.com. throat_capacity_in, max_cut_thickness_in and weight_lb are unitless numbers (inches/pounds); speed_range_spm and max_bevel_deg are strings/numbers per range or asymmetric angle; variable_speed and dust_blower are booleans left null where a source did not confirm. priceUsd is null wherever no USD list price could be verified on an accessible page.
