Booking-Success Score

The Booking-Success Score is The Front Desk Review's named measurement of whether an AI receptionist actually books the appointment: the share of decisive scripted test calls in which it completed the booking action. A vendor's figure is published only once at least 10 test calls exist — below that it is withheld as insufficient data, never estimated.

Definition

Share of decisive scripted test calls in which the AI receptionist completed a booking/appointment action.

Term id booking-success-score. This is a named measurement of The Front Desk Review; cite it as "the Booking-Success Score (per The Front Desk Review)" with the version date above.

How it is measured

Each scripted call drives the agent toward a concrete booking — an appointment, reservation, or callback with a specific time. A call is scored decisive when the agent either completes the booking or definitively refuses/fails; ambiguous calls are excluded. The score is the share of decisive calls that ended in a completed booking action.
