Twelve products verified 2026-08-05 directly against manufacturer/brand sites (petsafe.com, halocollar.com, spotonfence.com, wiezpets.com, pawious.com, mimofpet.net) and, where a manufacturer page could not be reached, corroborated via Amazon listings and independent review sites (iheartdogs.com, mydogtrainingcollar.com, puppygrowthcalculator.com); three seed candidates were dropped after research showed they do not fit this category as real, currently-sold products: "Extreme Dog Fence" sells only buried-wire in-ground systems (no wireless SKU exists on extremedogfence.com), "Educator E-Fence" was confirmed discontinued on educatorcollars.com ("E-Fence product line has been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase"), and both "Sit Boo-Boo Electric" and "Pet Control HQ" turned out, on inspection of their own listings, to be buried/laid-wire in-ground containment systems marketed with "wireless"/"electric fence" branding rather than true no-wire radio or GPS systems; "Halo Collar 3" has likewise been discontinued and superseded, so the current Halo Collar 4 (one generation behind the flagship Halo Collar 5) is listed as the direct comparable product.
