Cómo hemos elaborado este informe
Twelve light therapy (SAD/bright-light) lamps verified 2026-08-05 directly against manufacturer/brand product pages (verilux.com, carex.com, circadianoptics.com, northernlighttechnologies.com, beurer.com, mirocostore.com/themiroco.com, auradaylight.com, alaskanorthernlights.com, naturebright.com) with retailer listings used only to fill gaps manufacturer pages omitted. Three adversarial corrections were made to the seed list: (1) "Verilux HappyLight Liberty" no longer appears in Verilux's current HappyLight collection or at Target; it has been superseded by the HappyLight Halo, the current cordless HappyLight model, which replaces it in this roster. (2) "TheraLite Aura" — the standalone theralite.com brand domain has been abandoned and is now listed for sale on a domain marketplace (atom.com); the product itself is alive and current, sold exclusively through Carex (which owns the TheraLite brand), so the entry is sourced from and titled via carex.com. (3) "Sperti Fiji" is not a light-therapy/SAD lamp at all — Sperti's own product page confirms it is an FDA-cleared UV tanning lamp emitting 75% UVA/25% UVB light specifically to darken skin, the direct opposite of the UV-free full-spectrum lamps this category covers — so it was dropped and replaced with the NatureBright SunTouch Plus, a real 10,000-lux UV-free light-and-ion-therapy lamp, to keep the roster on-category. Additionally, "Aura Day Light" resolved to a real but easily-confused product, the Aura Daylight Lamp (model BL40, auradaylight.com) — distinct from both Carex's Day-Light Classic Plus and the TheraLite Aura despite the overlapping naming. Fields left null (color_temperature_k, panel_size, brightness_levels, timer, flicker_free, brightness_distance_in on several entries) reflect specs the manufacturer's own page did not publish at time of access rather than an estimate; Beurer TL100 priceUsd is null because no verifiable current US retail price could be confirmed (Beurer's own site shows only EUR/global pricing and the US Amazon listing could not be fetched directly). No manufacturer-hosted product image URL could be reliably confirmed for any entry within available access, so the optional image field is omitted throughout rather than guessed. accessedAt 2026-08-05 throughout.
