Como compilamos isto
Roster covers 12 flagship-to-enthusiast electric unicycles (EUCs) actively marketed in the US as of 2026, spanning the four brands that dominate buyer comparisons in enthusiast communities (Electric Unicycle Forum, r/ElectricUnicycle) and retailer catalogs: InMotion, King Song (Kingsong), Begode (formerly Gotway), and Veteran/LeaperKim. All 12 seed models supplied for this dataset were verified as real, currently-sold products via manufacturer or authorized-retailer pages; none needed to be replaced, so the roster was kept at 12 rather than padded to 15 with lower-confidence entries. Primary sources were the manufacturer's own storefront where it publishes a reachable, static spec page (myinmotion.com, kingsong.com). Begode and Veteran/LeaperKim do not run a reliably fetchable EN-language spec storefront (begode.com and a dedicated leaperkim.com both returned persistent errors during research), so for those eight products the primary source is smartwheel.us, a US-based authorized EUC retailer that publishes a consistent, detailed spec table per model plus a confirmed USD price; each was corroborated against a second independent retailer, national distributor, or in-depth enthusiast review (Freshly Charged, Electrek, Voltride, EUCO, ZoomRide, myewheel.com). Every source and corroboration URL was fetched and confirmed live on accessedAt=2026-08-01. EUC spec sheets routinely disagree across retailers on 'range' and 'top speed' because manufacturers publish theoretical/ideal-conditions maximums that each reseller rounds or restates differently (and sometimes conflates a wheel's base model with its '-S' or 'Pro' sibling). Where sources disagreed materially, the figure repeated by the majority of independent sources was used for the specKey value and the conflicting figure(s) are called out by name in that product's provenance field — figures were never averaged or invented to split the difference. motor_power_w is the manufacturer-rated continuous/sustained output; motor_peak_power_w is the stated peak/burst output, null where no source gave a discrete peak number. battery_voltage_v is nominal pack voltage. top_speed_mph and range_mi reflect the source's advertised maximum under ideal conditions (flat ground, moderate speed, ~75kg rider for range); real-world range is typically 60-75% of the advertised figure. weight_lb and max_load_lb describe the base configuration without seat/accessories. ip_rating is the shell ingress-protection rating exactly as stated by the cited source; null means no source specified a rating (not an assertion of zero protection). charge_time_hr is for the stock/standard single charger to full unless the provenance notes otherwise; several models offer optional dual/fast chargers that roughly halve this time. suspension_travel_mm is 0 for models that ship with a rigid, non-suspension fork, and null where a model has suspension but no source gave a millimeter travel figure. priceUsd is the lowest advertised US price found for the base battery/tire configuration at accessedAt; where only non-USD pricing or an out-of-stock/discontinued listing was found, priceUsd is null per the 'null beats a guess' rule and the observed price is reported in priceNote instead of being converted or estimated. Wikimedia Commons was checked first (Category:Motorized unicycles, Category:Self-balancing unicycles, Category:Eunicycle, and the illustrations on the English Wikipedia 'Electric unicycle' article) but contains no identifiable photography of any 2026-era high-performance EUC brand — only generic/older Solowheel and Airwheel devices — so every image in this dataset is manufacturer or authorized-retailer product photography, licensed as '© <Brand>'. Every candidate image URL was downloaded and visually inspected to confirm correct brand markings before being included.
