thread_count is a slash-separated string of the thread configurations the machine supports as published by the manufacturer (e.g. a 3/4-thread serger is "3/4"). stitch_options is the integer count of distinct built-in stitch types/patterns as explicitly stated by the manufacturer (e.g. 'Total Stitches: 23'); where the manufacturer only names stitch types without a published total, the count of distinctly named types is used and flagged in provenance; null where neither is available. stitches_per_minute is the maximum sewing speed in stitches per minute (spm). differential_feed, air_threading and free_arm are true/false when the manufacturer's spec sheet or feature list explicitly confirms or the feature is absent from an otherwise-detailed feature list (e.g. a flatbed coverstitch-only machine with no free-arm feature listed); null when genuinely unconfirmed either way. presser_foot_lift_in is the maximum presser-foot lift in inches (metric mm figures converted to inches); null if not published. needles is a free-text description of needle count/system (e.g. household HAx1) when the manufacturer publishes it; null otherwise. priceUsd is the US manufacturer-published price (MSRP/suggested retail or the brand's own direct-to-consumer listed price); null when no manufacturer or authorized-dealer price could be verified (several premium brands, notably BERNINA/bernette, restrict published pricing under MAP policy). Several official brand sites (singer.com, and intermittently bernette.com and some Shopify-hosted dealer sites) returned persistent HTTP 429/403 responses to automated access during this research pass; where the manufacturer page itself could not be retrieved, an authorized-dealer page was used as the primary source and is flagged in that product's provenance. A 14th candidate model (Husqvarna Viking Huskylock S25) was dropped from this dataset entirely because no manufacturer or authorized-dealer spec/price page could be verified this pass — consistent with this dataset's null-over-guess discipline.
