Where reviewers disagree The OdorErase filter splits the testers. Reviewed found it ineffective on the tested unit ("we didn't notice much of a difference" — bacon and fried chicken still smelled strongly), while Good Housekeeping's Eva Bleyer, who owns a similar Odor Erase model, says it "truly works" and keeps food smells from lingering. TechRadar's unit did not include the feature.

When it came time to cook, I appreciated how quickly it preheated, taking about three minutes to reach 400˚F.
The frozen French fries were perfectly golden on the outside, yet fluffy on the inside.
One flaw I noticed when cleaning is that water can get inside the ClearCook window.

Both home-made fries, which needed just 2tsp of oil for a 1.1lb / 500g batch, and chicken wings came out evenly browned in under 20 minutes.
As expected, the Instant Vortex Plus makes an extractor-fan like noise during cooking; however this only measured 64db on our decibel meter, which is similar to the noise a dishwasher makes mid-cycle.
This is one of the most expensive air fryers on the market.
Brussels sprouts came out nicely browned with crispy edges, frozen fries had a decadent crunch and melty interior, and bacon was browned and crunchy without getting burnt.
The manual that comes with the machine provides no chart or guidance for popular air fried foods, like frozen food, proteins, or veggies.
Unfortunately, we didn't notice much of a difference with this air fryer.
