With its sleek black and white build, the Arf is surprisingly attractive for a machine not generally known for its looks.
Some features were a bit of a struggle to figure out, as it took us time to determine how to dispense food manually or trigger a reset.
The feeder runs on electricity or batteries, which provides an important backup system.

How we checked

Manufacturer page arfpets.com confirms the exact model "Arf Pets Automatic Dog & Cat Feeder" (Product Code APAUF6L) at $69.99 (regular price $95.99), programmable up to four meals/day, power adapter included plus battery operation, recordable personal greeting, dishwasher-safe food tray. Amazon listing B06XBRP7J1 corroborates the identical model: "Dispense from 1-10 Portions Per Meal, Each Portion is 24ml, Set Up to 4 Daily Distribution Alarms," blue LCD, magnetic lock lid, runs on 3 D batteries or DC power cable; product Material listed as Plastic/ABS (review notes "The tray is plastic"). Capacity is given only as "1.14 gallons" and weight "4.63 Pounds" (imperial-only), so capacity liters and weight grams are left blank to avoid a non-verbatim unit conversion; no WiFi, camera, or app appears on either page, hence wi-Fi band "none", camera resolution blank, and app control false.
