What reviewers say about the Withings BPM Connect
Three hands-on write-ups survived verification: two Digital Trends reviews (2019 and 2023) and a 2024 Tom's Guide deals piece whose author uses the BPM Connect daily, all covering the exact Withings BPM Connect. All three praise its compact, portable, stylish design and the clear Withings Health Mate app; the two Digital Trends reviewers add that operation is one-button-simple and that readings tracked clinical/reference devices (about 95 percent agreement). Flags come mainly from the 2023 review: a hidden dot-matrix LED display harder to read than an LCD, Wi-Fi setup that only works on 2.4GHz and failed on a dual-band router, and a dated MicroUSB charging port. Tom's Guide noted its readings ran slightly higher than an Omron cuff. No RTINGS/lab benchmark exists.

time per reading: about 30 seconds · reading agreement vs Omron/manual cuff/hospital monitor over a month: about 95 percent of the time
It was so simple to measure my blood pressure that I ended up taking readings all the time.
As with most blood pressure monitors, there were a few spurious readings, but the Connect was accurate about 95 percent of the time.
This hidden display gives the unit a sleek appearance, but it does make it more challenging to read your blood pressure results.
battery remaining after 4 weeks of daily use: 86%
After getting past this stage, the BPM Connect has worked flawlessly.
I tried repeatedly, but it refuses to link to my home Wi-Fi, and it was a real stumbling block at the beginning.
It looks and feels modern and surprisingly stylish, but it's a shame about the MicroUSB port for charging.
Its compact design and rechargeable battery makes it a breeze to throw into my backpack without taking up much room.
The Withings app is also just as intuitive and informative, but the readings tend to be slightly higher than what I get with the Omron.
