CORRECTED max_passthrough '4K240 / 1440p144 / 1080p240' -> '4K60 / 1440p144 / 1080p240': the device uses HDMI 2.0, which physically cannot carry 4K240; official Elgato spec lists passthrough max 2160p60 (4K60), with 1440p144 and 1080p240 only at lower resolutions. The original '4K240' was fabricated/impossible. VRR not supported. Onboard hardware H.264/HEVC encoder. Replaced Best Buy corroboration with TechPowerUp launch article (more durable).
