Tested by MusicRadar

Consistently praised

  • Solid, tactile jog wheels and light-but-sturdy chassis
  • On-board Roland 808/909/707 drum machines with sequencing and vocal FX
  • Serato integration is peerless for the price; excels as a four-deck Serato controller

Commonly flagged

  • Performance pads feel cheap, especially given the on-board drum machines
  • Designed specifically for Serato DJ; won't play nice with other software without serious MIDI mapping
  • Feature-cramming means lots of screenless menuing and a learning curve

MusicRadar hands-on ·

This is a great Serato DJ controller, and surprisingly well-featured too
The chassis is light but sturdy, and the jog wheels are similarly supportive-feeling – commendable even, especially against cheaper-feeling jog wheels at a similar price.
It's a small shame that the performance pads feel on the cheaper side, though, particularly when there are drum machines on board; MPC pads these are not, to say the least.
