It's not quite as good as writing on the Amazon Kindle Scribe either – it feels like you're gliding over excessively smooth plastic and is my only complaint with this device.
Opening an ebook from either the home screen or the My Books page keeps you waiting about 7-10 seconds before something happens.
The new processor makes waking from sleep, turning pages, navigating the menu and changing orientation zippy fast.
Kobo's stylus makes it so fun to highlight text and scribble notes in the margins of a book that I'm starting to come around.
Of course, the stylus costs extra and you won't get features like notebooks and writing in the margins without it.
