Specifications
| Price (US) | Not published No verbatim USD price could be sourced. The TASCAM US product/spec page lists no price. Retailer pages either blocked access (Sweetwater, B&H, Adorama, Full Compass, zZounds, Sam Ash, Reverb) or load the buy-box price in the browser so it did not appear on the page (Guitar Center, Music & Arts, Amazon all showed no price). A web search suggested ~$399 at Sweetwater, but that figure did not appear verbatim on any page we opened, so no price is listed rather than a guess. |

How we checked
The TASCAM US spec page (tascam.com) confirms this is the exact Portacapture X8 (8-channel 32-bit float portable recorder) and states verbatim: 8 tracks maximum (6 tracks + stereo mix), WAV up to 192kHz with 16/24-bit and 32-bit float, four balanced XLR-3-31/TRS combo mic/line inputs (jacks 3-6) with individual 48V phantom, a 3.5-inch color touch panel display, microSD/SDHC/SDXC media, 4x AA power, about 11 hours continuous on included mics with alkaline (EVOLTA) batteries and phantom off, and 381g without batteries. The Guitar Center product page corroborates the same model and specs verbatim (Built-in mics: 2, External mic input: 4 XLR/TRS combo inputs, Max bit depth: 32-bit float, Max sampling rate: 192kHz, Micro SD/SDHC/SDXC, Phantom power: 24V/48V). No fetchable retailer exposed a verbatim USD price (403 blocks or JavaScript-rendered pricing), so the price is left blank; all twelve spec keys are recorded and sourced from a real fetched page for this exact model.
