Nikon COOLSHOT PROIII STABILIZED: price, specs & release date

Read on 2026-10-15: Nikon USA's own store lists the COOLSHOT PROIII STABILIZED (product 16788) at $529.95 and shows it in stock. Its overview gives an 8 to 1,200 yard range, 6X magnification and image stabilization, and its tech specs repeat the range and the image stabilization. Those tech specs print the magnification as 6-21x, and PlayBetter's copy of them does the same; Nikon's own specification table in its January 22, 2025 announcement gives a magnification of 6 and a 21 mm objective, so the magnification is shown here as 6x. That announcement adds plus or minus 0.75 yard accuracy under 700 yards (the best case of three bands), an Incline/Decline slope mode that the MODE button switches to an actual-distance mode for competitions, and Dual LOCKED ON QUAKE, which vibrates when the flagstick is locked. PlayBetter, a US dealer, lists the same model at $529.95. It succeeds the COOLSHOT PROII STABILIZED, which is listed separately.
