How we checked

Fetched Andis's own product page on 2026-09-17: model ML, item 01815, $119.99, magnetic motor, carbon-steel blade adjusting 000-1, 23.5 oz (666 g), 6.00" L x 2.13" W x 1.50" D, aluminium housing. Box contents are listed as clipper, blade guard and blade oil only - no attachment combs - so num guards is 0 on the manufacturer's own word, not an assumption. Andis's spec table says 7,200 SPM while its own marketing copy says 14,000 SPM; both are strokes per minute on a non-rotating magnetic motor, so max speed (rpm) stays blank rather than becoming a converted guess. This is the current SKU for the clipper long sold as 01557.
