Fenix HM55R Renegade: price & specs

The official Fenix Lighting USA product page confirms this is the HM55R RENEGADE, the exclusive U.S. triple-LED version of the HM55R, and lists Max Lumens 1200, 574 ft (175 m) max beam, Max Runtime 120 hours, 3.70 oz (105 g) including battery and headband, an included replaceable ARB-L18-1600 (1600 mAh, 18350) li-ion cell, a USB Type-C charging port, IP68 waterproof rating, and three red-light levels; it also states MSRP $100.00 (on sale $74.95). GearJunkie's dated Feb 10, 2026 hands-on review independently corroborates the same model at 1,200 lumens, 175 m spotlight throw, replaceable USB-C battery, 3.7 oz, IP68 submersible, and an adjustable red light, pricing it around $75. The unit's "Intelligent Downshift" is a proximity sensor for thermal safety (drops to 30 lm near an object), not an ambient-light reactive-lighting sensor, so reactive lighting is false; the separate spotlight and floodlight LEDs make beam type "mixed".
