Panasonic Lumix S9: price & specs

Re-fetched and verified against both sources on 2026-07-10. Panasonic USA support spec page (help.na.panasonic.com, model DC-S9K) confirms verbatim: "35 mm full-frame CMOS sensor" (sensor format=Full-frame), "Effective pixels: approx. 24,200,000" (24.2MP), "Leica Camera AG L-Mount" (mount=L-mount), "Image sensor shift type, 5-axis stabilizer" / "In-body image stabilizer: 5.0 stops" (ibis=true), "[SH] / [SH PRE]: 30 frames/second" electronic-shutter burst (continuous (fps)=30), and "Approx. 486 g/1.08 lb (camera body, with battery and card)" (weight (g)=486). Corroboration precision-camera.com (authorized retailer, body-only DC-S9BODYK) confirms MSRP/regular price $1,499.99 (the price=1499; on sale $1,199.99), "Effective: 24.2 Megapixel", "Leica L" mount, "Sensor-Shift, 5-Axis" IS, "Up to 30 fps at 24.2 MP", "486 g", and the maximum video mode "5952 x 3968 at ... 29.97 fps" (= 6K open-gate @30p, max video=6K@30p). REMOVED: release date/specs.release "2024-06" could not be confirmed by either fetched source — neither page states a release date (original relied on Wikipedia, which was not among the fetched URLs). Model confirmed as the Lumix S9 (DC-S9K / DC-S9BODYK), not a sibling or variant. 7 of 8 spec keys survive (>half), so publish=true.
