How we checked
The manufacturer product page (mdhearingaid.com/hearing-aids/mdhearing-neo-xs) confirms this is the exact NEO XS model — not the sibling NEO XS PRO — describing a completely-in-the-canal (CIC) rechargeable OTC aid with four preset programs, 18+ hour battery, 1-year warranty, a current 60-day risk-free trial, and a regular pair price of "$297" (on sale at $252.45). HearingTracker's dated review (device "Introduced in November 2023") independently corroborates the CIC design, ~18-hour battery, four selectable programs, no Bluetooth streaming/no app-based controls, and explicitly no IP rating, while listing an older $397/pair price. HearAdvisor (labeled "Released 2023", lab-tested Jun 2024) confirms the same NEO XS unit at $397; I used the manufacturer's current $297 regular pair price and left max gain (dB), water resistance IP, sound channels, and weight per aid grams null as none were disclosed.
