When speaking, I was told by the person I was calling that some outside noise was being picked up in the built-in mics, meaning some words were missed.
Out of the box, the Ult Wear have a frequency curve any Sony fan will be familiar with; that is, pretty well-balanced with some push to the low end and upper frequencies.
The last mode I found far too aggressive and bordering on ridiculous, with bass becoming distracting and covering everything above it.
The feel of the ear cups is a bit flimsy compared to the XM4
