Straight out of the box, I was impressed with the build quality of the ring light itself, but more important the quality of the lighting stand it comes with.
It also has smartphone connectivity via the Neewer app which works really well.
While the Neewer RP18B Pro doesn't come with batteries (the Wescott does), it can still be powered by either AC or DC, and Neewer offers a separate battery mounting plate and batteries.
