Where reviewers disagree On fit: Tom's Guide and TechHive broadly recommend it for homes with lots of hard floors, but TechHive says it is 'more mop than you need' for apartments/condos with only small tiled areas, while Reviewed frames it strictly as a maintenance cleaner rather than a deep-clean replacement.

Dry-sweep time, 70 sq ft hardwood kitchen area: 14 min 9 sec · Wet-mop time, same 70 sq ft area: 30 min 28 sec · Coverage before tank draw-down: 216 sq ft (two full first-floor runs) left the tank just under halfway full
The iRobot Braava jet m6 is the first robot mop that doesn't disappoint.
Despite its larger size, it was a slower sweeper than the Braava jet 240, which completed the same task in 10 minutes, 8 seconds.
While the proprietary solution is annoying, I'll give iRobot a pass here since they're the only company I've seen that offers an alternative to water as a cleaning agent in robot mops.
Smart-map build time (vSLAM): ~6 hours over about half a dozen runs · Full cleaning-cycle time (varies by mode): 1.5 to ~3 hours · Test space (office break room): ~400 sq ft with 21 chairs and 5 tables
The Braava Jet M6 is the best hard-floor maintainer we’ve tested, and the fact that it can deal with a sticky mess at a touch of a button makes it worth checking out.
The mapping process does take a very long time—about half a dozen runs over six hours.
My extensive experience testing robot vacuums has proven that automated floor cleaners are better for maintenance rather than a deep clean.
The iRobot Braava Jet m6 is an excellent robot mop with plenty of smart features for automating a hated household chore.
One of the things I like best about this robot is it recognizes carpet right out of the box, without the user needing to set up physical or virtual barriers.
If you live in an apartment or condominium where those surfaces are limited to kitchens and bathrooms, the Braava Jet m6 is probably more mop than you need.
