How we checked
The Vortex Optics manufacturer page (SKU RS-85A, Razor HD 27-60x85 Angled) confirmed the exact model and listed $2,399.99 MSRP, with specs: 85 mm objective, 27-60x, 117'-68' linear FOV @1000 yds, 16.4' close focus, 16.7mm-17.0mm eye relief, 15.5" length, 65.6 oz weight, "HD Optical System", and "Argon-Gas Purged" waterproof/fogproof sealing. The GritrSports review (updated Sep 18, 2025) corroborated the same model (27-60x85mm angled), matching 85mm / 27-60x / 117-68ft FOV / 15.5" / 65.6 oz / 17-16.7mm eye relief and HD extra-low-dispersion glass, and noted the redesigned 85mm model was unveiled in late 2016. Both pages identify this as the large-objective 85mm Razor HD offered in angled and straight eyepieces, not the 22-48x65 sibling, confirming model identity. Note: sealing gas is argon, which satisfies the methodology's definition of the nitrogen purged boolean ("inert-gas fill for internal fog resistance").
