How we checked
The official Navien product page (navieninc.com/products/npe-240a2) confirmed the exact model NPE-240A2 via its Specifications and QuickFacts tables: 13,300-199,900 BTU/h input, 0.95 UEF, 11.2 GPM at 35F temp rise (peak), 0.5 GPM minimum flow, 77 lbs boiler weight, PVC venting, and a 15-year residential heat-exchanger warranty; it is a condensing, field-convertible NG/LP unit with dual stainless-steel heat exchangers. The SupplyStop.com retailer listing corroborated the same model identity (SKU NPE-240A2, 199,900 BTU, 0.95 UEF, 11.2 GPM at 35F rise) and supplied the price of $2,099.00. The manufacturer FAQ explicitly distinguishes this second-generation "A2" from the original NPE-240A, confirming this is the correct model and not the NPE-240A or an S2 sibling.
