How we checked

The official Maytag.com product page for the exact model MVW6500MW confirms it as a "Pet Pro Top Load Washer - 4.7 cu. ft." (top_load) with 4.7 cu. ft. capacity and "750 RPM spin speed" ("Fast spin speeds of up to 750 RPM"); the page lists no smart/Wi-Fi or steam features and was temporarily out of stock with no price. Shop Appliances' full model-specific spec table verbatim states Type: Top Load, Total Capacity (cu. ft.) 4.7, Maximum Spin Speed (RPM) 750, Steam Cycle: No (steam false), Smart Appliance No / Wi-Fi No (smart Wi-Fi false), Energy Star No (energy star false), and Stackable No (stackable false), and lists a List Price of $1,199.00 (current sale $1,078.00; item discontinued). Its FAQ additionally states "The MVW6500M is not certified Energy Star." No manufacturer release year appears on either fetched page, so release and release date are left blank; 7 of 8 spec keys are recorded and the model matches exactly, so publish is true.
