Wie wir das erstellt haben
Roster covers thirteen pizza baking surfaces spanning solid carbon-steel plates and commercial-grade cordierite/ceramic stones, verified 2026-08-12/13 by fetching each manufacturer's own live product page (or, where the maker is a Shopify/BigCommerce merchant, its public /products.json feed) and cross-checking against foodservice retailer WebstaurantStore for commercial cordierite SKUs; five of the fourteen names on the original seed list turned out not to correspond to a real, currently-purchasable product and were replaced or corrected rather than guessed: (1) "Dough-Joe Emperor" and (2) "NerdChef Steel Stone" — both doughjoe.com and nerdchef.com now resolve to GoDaddy "domain for sale" parking pages (confirmed live as recently as mid/late 2025 via the Wayback Machine, so these are recently-defunct brands, not typos) and were dropped in favor of two other real steel makers (Hans Grill, and Denmark's Bagestålet ApS / "The Pizza Steel"); (3) "Conductive Cooking 3/8in" — conductivecooking.com now forwards to cookingsteels.com ("Cooking Steels"), the same company rebranded, and the entry was kept under its current name/domain with the 3/8 in. option confirmed live on its product page; (4) "Ooni Baking Steel" does not exist — Ooni's full products.json catalog contains only cordierite "Baking Stone" accessories for its Koda/Karu ovens and no steel product, so the entry was corrected to the real Baking Stone for Koda 16; (5) "Nordic Ware Pizza Steel" does not exist either — Nordic Ware's pizza-pans line is aluminum pans and ceramic stones only, confirmed via its own site navigation, and no substitute Nordic Ware entry was added since no comparable steel/stone SKU could be verified. "KettlePizza Steel" was likewise dropped: KettlePizza's live catalog (scraped via its own site) sells only complete grill-to-pizza-oven kits with a steel insert bundled in, never a standalone steel plate with its own price/spec sheet. "Cast Elegance Stone" was dropped after its likely domain (thermarite.com) also resolved to a GoDaddy parking page and no live storefront could be located. To keep the roster at a useful size, four verified commercial cordierite stones (Emile Henry, FibraMent, Big Green Egg, Onlyfire, American Metalcraft x2, Backyard Pro) were added alongside the confirmed steel plates so the set still spans both materials named in the Material spec. thickness_in, dimensions_in, weight_lb, max_temp_f, thermal_conductivity, preheat_time and surface_finish are left null wherever a product's live page/JSON feed did not publish that figure as text (several sellers, e.g. Hans Grill and Ooni, show specs only as an image graphic that could not be read as text) rather than inferring a number from a similar-looking model. priceUsd is left null for Cooking Steels' 3/8in option (its product page lists one price per plate size but does not separate 1/4in vs 3/8in pricing for the same size, so no single figure could be attributed without guessing) and for The Pizza Steel (Bagestålet ApS is a Denmark-based seller and its "89.00" list price's currency could not be confirmed as USD). accessedAt is 2026-08-12 throughout.
