What reviewers say about the Omnilux Contour FACE

One whitelisted tester (Reviewed/USA Today) reviewed the Omnilux Contour Face mask hands-on, wearing it four nights a week for six weeks in 10-minute sessions. Verdict: worth buying for the best science-backed claims among the LED masks tested, with a subtle but real improvement in skin quality. Downsides: the fit digs into high or Roman nose bridges, and the LEDs shine directly into unprotected eyes with no included eye shields. All quotes verified against the source.

Tested by Reviewed

Consistently praised

  • Highest LED concentration among masks the tester compared (66 red + 66 near-infrared bulbs), meaning fewer gaps and more even coverage
  • Easy, hands-off 10-minute sessions with auto shut-off; no serum needed and packs flat for travel
  • Best science-backed claims of the LED masks tested, with subtle but real skin improvement over six weeks

Commonly flagged

  • Uncomfortable fit for high or Roman nose bridges — the mask digs into the bridge and sits higher
  • LEDs shine directly into unprotected eyes; no goggles or eye shields included, tester improvised by laying fabric over her eyes
  • Cannot realistically be worn during chores as the brand claims — tester had to lie down with a cloth over her eyes

Where reviewers disagree Only one whitelisted source survived verification, so no cross-source comparison is possible. Reviewed itself is internally split: it names the mask its top LED pick while calling the nose-bridge fit and eye glare genuinely uncomfortable, and cautions that confirming firming results really needs six months or longer of use.

If you are going to buy a red light mask, the Omnilux seems to have the best science-backed claims, and I did see a difference, however subtle, in the quality of my skin.
if your nose has a high bridge, it’s going to be an uncomfortable fit. The mask will dig into your bridge and sit a bit higher so the lights shine directly into your eyes.
While OmniLux claims that you can wear this mask while you do your chores around the house, I did not find this to be the case.
