Everything I cooked came out just as good as I'd expected, with perfectly crispy chicken wings without the need for a drop of oil, and gorgeous fluffy fries with the perfect amount of bite.

The only real down-side is the price, which is on the high side for a dual-basket air fryer

While Ninja claims the XL model I tested can feed eight people, I'd say that's a little ambitious unless you're padding out the meal with non-air fryer foods too.

Ultimately, it was super convenient to be able to put all the food in at once, set the program, and walk away until the entire meal was ready.

While it's cooking, the Double Stack XL is also really loud, to the point that it really took us by surprise during the first use.

The extreme height (it clocks in at 15.14 inches tall) made it difficult for us to store in any cabinets or pantry shelves.
