Roomier than before in the rear seat and cargo area, still drives great, big new touchscreen infotainment system.
No more optional turbocharged engine, we miss the physical interior switchgear, fuel economy is just meh.
Unfortunately, we have experienced usability problems with this system in the CX-5, including frequent glitches and a frozen display.
The new infotainment system is brilliant, and one from which both traditional and tech-focused automakers could learn some useful lessons.
Unfortunately, your fingers get no such treat, as its heavy steering mutes the feedback.
We won’t miss the command dial, but taking away the volume knob, well, that’s a step too far.
