Asus ROG Xbox Ally: price, specs & release date

The official ASUS ROG spec page (ROG Xbox Ally 2025, model RC73YA-XB_ALLY.Z2A.16) states CPU "AMD Ryzen Z2 A Processor 2.8GHz (6MB Cache, up to 3.8 GHz, 4 cores, 8 Threads)", GPU "AMD Radeon Graphics" with no published TFLOPS or CU count (so GPU (TFLOPS) is left blank rather than guessed), 16GB LPDDR5 (6400MT/s dual channel), 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 2280 SSD, a 7-inch FHD 1920x1080 16:9 IPS-level 120Hz display with AMD FreeSync Premium, Windows 11 Home, and an ASUS estore price of $599.99. Microsoft's Xbox.com ROG Xbox Ally product page corroborates the same base configuration (distinct from the Ally X's Z2 Extreme/24GB/1TB): AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor, 16GB LPDDR5-6400 memory, 512GB M.2 2280 SSD, and a 7" FHD (1080p) IPS 120Hz display. It is a Windows handheld PC with no optical drive. Release is recorded as 2025 (the product is branded "ROG Xbox Ally (2025)" with a ©2025 notice); the exact launch month is not stated verbatim on either fetched page, so only the year is claimed. All values re-verified against freshly fetched source and corroboration text.
