Where reviewers disagree The cooling upgrade is confirmed by only one side: TechRadar found the Gen-2 'CoolTouch' leather made a noticeable difference during a UK heatwave, whereas Tom's Hardware tested in winter and its back-to-back comparison showed no real-world cooling improvement yet. They also split on the moving lumbar cushion, which Tom's calls its favorite feature while TechRadar lists the shifting backrest as a downside.

The Iskur V2 NewGen is a minor update to an already good gaming chair.
My favorite part of the chair is what Razer dubs the HyperFlex Lumbar Support System.
One thing I noticed after assembling the Iskur V2 NewGen was a strong chemical smell that still lingers.
It's safe to say that there is actually a noticeable difference too, and I didn't find myself feeling uncomfortably clammy while sitting.
One downside to its performance is that the back cushion, where the Razer Hyperflex Lumbar Support System is stored, moves around when you shift in your seat.
The sculpted memory foam cushion is a nice touch for extra support, but I would've preferred if this was magnetic rather than relying on an elastic strap around the headrest of the chair.
