Screen auto-off timeout (stopwatch-timed): 4.5 min · Smallest calibrated weight registered: 1 g · Level teaspoon of dried yeast: 3 g

When I tested it for precision, it came out on top and registered a 1g calibrated weight, where other kitchen scales failed.
However, I was disappointed by the size of the weighing platform, which made it difficult to use a large bowl.
I set a stopwatch to test this time, and the display stayed put for 4.5 minutes, short of the stated time by 30 seconds, but it's nothing I'll be quibbling over.

Reviewed lab-tested ·

The Escali’s simplicity makes it the best scale for everyday use.
The two Escalis didn’t disappoint—they showed identical results, with no fluctuations while weighing the same objects and weights.
The only thing we don’t like about this product is that it can’t read in 0.1g increments, unlike the Acaia and Bonavita scales.
