Taylor Multi-Purpose Digital Kitchen Scale (3831S): price & specs

The official taylorusa.com product page (titled "Multi-Purpose Digital Kitchen Scale | 3831S | TAYLOR") confirms verbatim the tempered glass platform, up to 6.6-pound capacity, a "large 0.7 LCD display," "Auto shut off & tare features," "One (1) CR2032 battery included," and "Handwash only. Do not immerse it in water or put it in the dishwasher" (dishwasher safe=false); it lists a price of "Sale price $29.99." The Amazon listing (ASIN B01N06M3L5, Part Number 3831S, UPC 077784005859) corroborates the exact 3831S model and states "6.6lb/3kg capacity" (max weight (kg)=3), "Measurement Type Pounds/Ounces, Kilograms/Grams" (unit modes g, oz, lb, kg), "Electronic Tare" (tare=true), "Material Type Glass" (platform material tempered glass per the manufacturer page), and "Readout Accuracy 0.1 ounce/1 gram" plus product description "weighs in 0.1oz/1g increments" and "kilograms to 1g" (precision (g)=1). precision (g)=1 follows the three consistent Amazon "1 gram" statements; the manufacturer page's phrase ".1-ounce/.1-gram" appears to be a copy typo (0.1 oz pairs with 1 g division, not 0.1 g) and was not used. Amazon showed no US price ("No featured offers available"), so the price is sourced from the taylorusa.com store; no release date is stated on either fetched page, so release date is left blank. Re-fetch (2026-07-10) reconfirmed every value above verbatim.
