Like the original Hypervolt, the Hypervolt 2 is relatively quiet. It makes a gentle buzzing sound when in use, and while it isn’t silent, it’s much quieter than other massage guns we’ve tested.
The Hypervolt 2 can be challenging to maneuver. Its handle feels large to me—just slightly too wide to feel secure in my hand—and can be awkward to grasp when reaching behind to get my back or calves.
The Hyperice Hypervolt 2 is one of the better massage guns we’ve used due to its pressure and the multiple attachments that are included with your purchase.
It is kind of loud though, especially on the highest setting, which may be a bit of an inconvenience for some users.
The “softest” speed may not be soft enough for those days when you’re extremely sore.
