I've tested the Meater 2 Plus for three cooks so far and I've been impressed with the performance for all of them.
It's completely wild to me to be able to throw this thing in the dishwasher instead of spending several minutes scrubbing the probe like I typically have to for all of my wired accessories.
Most of our backyards won't accommodate that, and you're going to walk into the house to grab a beer at some point.

Source: store-us.meater.com (verified 2026-07-11) · corroborated by nakedwhiz.com. The MEATER US store page requested at /meater-2-plus redirects to the MEATER Pro listing and explicitly states "MEATER 2 Plus = MEATER Pro... we've renamed MEATER 2 Plus to MEATER Pro," confirming exact model identity; it lists original price $129.95 (sale $99.99), Bluetooth 5.2 Coded PHY long range with 2500 ft line-of-sight range, ±0.5°F accuracy, over 24 hours of battery, and a 221°F max internal / 1000°F max ambient limit. The independent 2023 Naked Whiz review of the MEATER 2 Plus corroborates the exact model and supplies the 14 gram probe weight plus matching 2500 ft unobstructed range, Bluetooth 5.2, and 24+ hour battery, though it cites the launch-era ±0.2°F accuracy and a 932°F probe-rated ambient limit. Neither page publishes an IP ingress rating and both confirm an app-only device (single charger LED, no on-board display), so waterResistanceRating is "none," responseTimeSec is null (continuous-monitoring wireless probe), and no low temperature bound is stated so tempRangeFahrenheit is left null.
