What reviewers say about the Ollin Gaming Monitor Arm

One verified hands-on source: Digital Foundry (Eurogamer), which tested the £175 Ollin for five months as part of the three-piece Herman Miller x Logitech G set alongside the Embody Gaming chair and Nevi desk. It reports effortless movement and great stability, a roughly ten-minute install, and premium-looking metal construction, while noting the arm reaches less far than some rivals and sits at the expensive end of the market. No other whitelisted outlet was verified as having reviewed this exact model, so treat this as a single-source picture rather than a consensus.

Tested by Digital Foundry

Consistently praised

  • Effortless, stable movement — even relatively thick, heavy 27-inch monitors stay exactly where they are left
  • Metal construction and matte black paint job look the part and match the rest of the Herman Miller x Logitech G set
  • Install takes around ten minutes; good cable management and a weight-resistance dial

Commonly flagged

  • Extends less far from the base than some rival arms, limiting left-to-right positioning — though the reviewer judged the reach more than sufficient for his own desk
  • Premium pricing; the reviewer states good-value alternatives exist across the whole Herman Miller x Logitech G range

Where reviewers disagree No cross-source disagreement can be assessed — only Digital Foundry (Eurogamer) was verified as having published a hands-on review of this exact model. Its own verdict is internally split: great stability and motion, but it ranks the Ollin second of the three-piece set (behind the Embody chair) and tells readers that from a value perspective good alternatives exist. The reviewer also concedes limited prior experience with high-end arms, having used AmazonBasics arms for years, so the comparative-reach judgement rests on a narrow baseline.

Install time (monitor onto VESA mount, clamp arm to desk, push monitor onto mount): around ten minutes

Once installed, even relatively thick and heavy 27-inch monitors can be moved around effortlessly, with the monitor staying in position wherever it's left.
Some monitor arms I've used can extend a little further from the base, giving them more flexibility in left-to-right positioning, but the length here is more than sufficient to move the monitor from the wall to right in front of my face for playing CSGO, which is all I really care about.
Once again, it's not the cheapest option, but it justifies its placement in the upper end of the market and might well be worth a look
