PCMark 10 standard test score: 6156 points · PCMark 10 extended test score: 4857 points · VRM (power supply phases) temperature under load: +51°C · Chipset temperature under load: +33°C · Max memory frequency supported: 6400 MHz
We were pleased with the temperature readings.
The power supply phases were also perfectly cooled by massive radiators, with a temperature of +51°C.
However, we want to warn you! Overclocking for inexperienced users is a dangerous task and can result in component failure.
Not only is the board a bit cheaper than Z790-based motherboards, but it also supports cheaper DDR4 RAM.
The board can easily accommodate most PC cooling systems.
The ATX power sockets at the top of the board are tucked away behind a heatsink, which was a bit fiddly.
ASUS have done a great job when it comes to the aesthetic, opting for an all-black design as opposed to contrasting colours, and I believe most consumers will be very happy with the look of this board in their build.
The TUF Gaming B760 board does feature more exposed PCB compared to more expensive boards, but this will be down to saving costs.
B760 motherboards cannot overclock CPUs, and the lack of VRM power phases will directly affect this too.
