In particularly noisy environments like busy streets or public transportation, the sound quality noticeably deteriorates as environmental sounds compete with your media.
Battery drained after 30 min playback at 50% volume: ~10%
With better sound, longer battery life and improved controls, the Shokz OpenFit 2 are now my go-to serious running earbuds.
I was able to drain about 10% from both earbuds after 30-minutes of playback at 50% volume.
with no noise cancellation to speak of, the OpenFit 2 are a terrible option to have for the commute or when working at a nearby cafe.
The sound quality is among the best I've come across in open headphones, the battery life is excellent and the new physical button controls are much easier to use during workouts.
When traveling, however, the sound can be drowned out, which is always a problem with open headphones.
