What reviewers say about the Anker Laptop Power Bank 25,000mAh 165W (A1695)

Two whitelisted hands-on testers — TechRadar (Feb 2025) and Engadget (Nov 2025) — both recommend the Anker Laptop Power Bank (25K, 165W / A1695) as a near-ideal laptop power bank: high 25,000mAh capacity, two built-in USB-C cables and a detailed per-port display. Both measured strong real-world charge speeds on laptops and phones. Main gripes are weight (~594g, flagged by TechRadar) and the display (small readout area per TechRadar; shiny screen that dulls with use per Engadget).

  • Detailed display showing per-port wattage, temperature and battery health · 2 sources
  • Solid, premium build with a sleek look · 2 sources
  • High 25,000mAh capacity with fast, dependable real-world laptop/phone charging · 2 sources

Commonly flagged

  • Display drawbacks: small readout area (TechRadar), shiny screen dulls with use (Engadget) · 2 sources
  • Charging is fast but not the fastest tested; ~90-100W ceiling per USB-C port · 2 sources
  • Heavy (~594g) and thick — not pocketable
  • Overkill for people who only charge a phone

Where reviewers disagree Little real disagreement — both recommend it. The one divergence is weight: TechRadar counts the over-half-a-kilo heft as a genuine con, while Engadget shrugs it off and prefers the 'luxe finish' over a ruggedized enclosure.

Power bank recharge 0% to 100%: 90 minutes · Charge Lenovo IdeaPad 4G laptop: ~2 hours · Bank charge left after charging that laptop: ~50% · Weight (spec): 594g / 21oz · Max USB-C output per port: 100W

The Anker Laptop Power Bank is very well built, with every material and panel feeling solid.
I managed to charge a Lenovo IdeaPad 4G in about two hours, which is an admirable performance.
At over half a kilo, the Anker Laptop Power Bank isn't exactly light.

Engadget lab-tested ·

16-inch MacBook Pro charge from one bank charge: 10% to 78% · Refills of iPhone 15 / Galaxy S23 Ultra per bank charge: ~4 times each · Max power drawn by laptop from USB-C port: ~90W · iPhone 15 near-dead to 70%: ~40 minutes · Galaxy S23 Ultra 5% to 100%: under 1 hour · 16-inch MacBook Pro 68% refill: just over 50 minutes

Anker's Laptop Power Bank (25K, 165W) manages to combine all the cleverest new features into one sleek-looking charging brick — and it costs less than some other banks in its class.
My only gripe with the design is that the very shiny screen has become slightly dull with use.
That's not the fastest performance I've tested, but it's better than most other banks and plenty quick enough to get you back in action in a decent amount of time.
