What reviewers say about the Anker Nano Power Bank 5,000mAh 22.5W (A1653)
Two whitelisted testers cover the exact A1653 (5,000mAh, 22.5W). Engadget lab-tested it; PCWorld gave a qualitative long-term personal endorsement (no measurements). Both praise the cable-free foldable built-in USB-C connector, the ultra-compact lipstick-sized body and strong power delivery for the size. Engadget measured only 0.65 Galaxy S23 Ultra charges (0 to 65% in 1h 2m) from a single fill, so a full phone top-up holds mainly for smaller phones. All quotes and measured values verified against source text; no sources dropped.

Commonly flagged
- Modest 5,000mAh only tops up a phone; not for laptops or multiple devices
- Fills a large Galaxy S23 Ultra to only about 65% per charge (0.65 charges)
Where reviewers disagree No hard conflict. PCWorld says it fully recharges a phone once from below 20%; Engadget's measurement shows only 65% of a Galaxy S23 Ultra (a 5,000mAh-class phone) per fill. The gap is phone-size dependent, not a contradiction. Only Engadget hands-on-measured performance; the PCWorld entry is a qualitative personal-use endorsement with no measurements.

The Anker Nano power bank has impressive power delivery for its size.
In my testing, the 5,000mAh battery provided enough charge to get a depleted Galaxy S23 Ultra back up to 65 percent in about an hour.
It works completely without cables and is plugged directly into the USB-C port on your phone.
The 5,000 mAh capacity of my power bank is more than enough for everyday use, as it allows me to fully recharge my smartphone at least once if the battery has already dropped below 20 percent.
That's all you need, unless you want to connect several devices or a laptop.
