Motor noise while running: <48 dB · Measured height range: 26.0-51.6 in · Assembly time (solo, hand tools): 45 minutes

The motor is quiet (<48 dB in our test), smooth, and stable.
Building the desk was a breeze thanks to the included printed instructions and how the parts were packaged.
Once in position, we found the power cable for the motor to be shorter than we would prefer.

PCWorld hands-on ·

Despite the motor, it's impressively quiet while adjusting too.
setting up the SmartDesk Pro took more time, effort, and tools than I would have liked
There's an occasional light wobble to the table top (hard to avoid entirely) but never the feeling that things might actually go wrong.
