What reviewers say about the DJI Mavic 4 Pro

Three whitelisted hands-on testers (TechRadar, Engadget, Tom's Guide) unanimously rate the Mavic 4 Pro the best/most advanced consumer drone yet, praising its triple-camera Hasselblad image quality, long battery life, LiDAR-aided obstacle avoidance and the new RC Pro 2 controller. All measured real-world flight times (37-50 min). Gripes: heavy 1kg+ weight triggering C2 restrictions, and (per single testers) limited agility and subject tracking less versatile than smaller DJI models. All three note it was not on sale in the US at launch.

Real-world flight time (single battery, testing): ~37 minutes

The Mavic 4 Pro is, without a doubt, one of the best DJI drones you can buy.
the higher-resolution images aren't as sharp as those taken at lower-resolution settings
the Mavic 4 Pro isn't as versatile as the DJI Flip or Neo for general tracking

Engadget lab-tested ·

Real-world flight time (typical use): 40-45 minutes · Tracked car speed, locked-on with full obstacle avoidance: up to 30 mph

With its new camera system, the Mavic 4 Pro has the best video quality I've seen on any consumer drone.
this drone is so polished and capable that nothing else remotely compares to it.
It's still a big SUV of a drone, though, so it lacks the agility of DJI's Mini 4 Pro.

Tom's Guide lab-tested ·

Real-world flight time (single battery, testing): 50 minutes · Charging time (hub, included 240W charger): just under 90 minutes · Controller battery life (verified in testing): 4 hours

The DJI Mavic 4 Pro is the best consumer drone money can buy right now, period.
The DJI Mavic 4 Pro's image quality is absolutely stunning.
It's heavy and large, so C2 weight restrictions apply
