The vacuuming is excellent and the Submarine floorhead also works pretty well for basic cleanups, save for the fact it's prone to dripping dirty water all over your just-mopped floors.
In my tests, this performed extremely well, handling everyday cleans as well as more specific tasks such as clearing a thick, almost-dry food spill, and muddy boot prints.
it suffers from one significant design flaw – the dirty water tank is not fully sealed and, as it gets full, it can spill.

if you pause mid-flow, the roller can leave grimy water streaks behind — where the suction has essentially stopped.
