The brightness of the panel is nearly 1,200 cd/m² in the pure white display with the ambient light sensor activated, which is quite high.

With over 22 hours in the Wi-Fi test and almost 39 hours of continuous video playback with the Wi-Fi module deactivated, most users should be able to achieve a stamina of two days or longer in everyday use.

Here, the heat development leads to a high throttling of the system performance of around 50%.

When it comes to brightness, you shouldn't expect record numbers from the OnePlus 13, at least not under our standard testing conditions. We got just over 1,200nits with the auto toggle engaged and the phone placed under bright light.

The overall Active Use Score of 15:28h is an excellent figure.

OnePlus's speed claims checked out and we clocked 35 minutes from empty to 100% and around 55% at the 15-minute checkpoint.

The OnePlus 13 ran for 19 hours and 45 minutes on our custom battery test (constantly loading web pages over a cell connection until the battery dwindled down to 0%), which is more than 2 hours longer than the iPhone 16 Pro Max lasted.

Compared to the competition, our test results show the OnePlus lags behind in terms of brightness, but scores better on color breadth, and leads the pack on accuracy.

Some uneven photo brightness and shorter software support aside, it's going to be hard to find a better value flagship for less the rest of 2025.

Geekbench 6 multi-core: 9267 · Battery, local video rundown test: 30h 18min

On our local video rundown test, it posted a time of 30 hours and 18 minutes, which is almost an hour longer than the Galaxy S25 Ultra (29:27) and nearly three hours better than a basic Pixel 9 (27:32).

This leads to benchmark results that are about five percent lower (9,267 for the OP13 vs 9,828 for the Galaxy S25 Ultra in Geekbench 6 multi-core). In the real world, though, the phone still feels blisteringly fast.

in low light, the OP13's Night Mode sometimes struggled to keep up with the Pixel 9's Night Sight, resulting in photos that aren't quite as sharp or detailed as you'd like them to be.
